How to Connect on Facebook

Today we are going to talk about how to connect on Facebook. Join us on Facebook today at The Bloggers Connection Page and/or The Bloggers Connection Group. Facebook has over 1.19 billion monthly active users.  Almost everyone you know has a Facebook account. You need to be where your readers are and your readers are on Facebook.

Unfortunately for businesses and bloggers Facebook works hard to make getting your content in front of your audience a challenge. 

Why? Well it boils down to one thing MONEY. When your content is not making it out to your audience you are more likely to hit that boost button and spend a little cash or a lot to get your content out there. But, you don't have too. You see Facebook has one thing that works in your favor. Engagement gives you a boost. The more likes, comments and shares you have on a post the more people you will reach and the more people your next post will be "served" to. 

The best way to get engagement is to get jenuine followers. People that are interesting in your niche, get to know your audience, and stir in a bit of controversy once in a while. Be active, reply to comments, and skip using popular seculars like hootsuite. You see facebook does not play well with others. 

You can help fellow bloggers on Facebook

Help fellow bloggers by giving posts that land in your feed a like, comment, or share. This is a great way to find content to share on your page. You should be sharing a minimum of half of others posts but, an 80/20 ration is even better.

Use Facebook groups to your advantage. 

Some niche groups can drive pretty amazing traffic. Share your freebies, and posts that interest each group's niche but be sure to check and follow group rules so you do not get posts deleted and booted from the group.
